| KIKI |

Purdy thought that you might like to see how well she is settling in.
She is doing really well, but can't wait to get outside (she has only a few days to wait)! She has her bed next to me on the sofa but loves to sleep on my bed with me at night.
She is a delightful little girl, loves playing with cat toys and I love her to bits already.
So thanks again for everything.
Love and purrs,
Rachael Starmer and Purdy.

| KIKI |

Kiki has settled in really well! She seems very contented and is the most
affectionate cat I've ever had, she loves cuddles!! She's sat next to me on
the settee now and says "miaowwwww"! She has a mad hour every night, which
keeps me entertained, and can't quite get the grip of mirrors yet (I keep
trying to get her to realise it's her!).
I'm really pleased as she seems like she's been here forever. I will take
some pictures and send them to you.

| BUNTY |
Here is a picture of Bunty in her new home. She seems to have settled in really well spending most of the day asleep & only really waking when she wants to be fed! She does liven up in the evening and I have been woken most nights to the sound of her chasing one of her toys around the kitchen. She tends to like being on high places cat napping whilst dangling her legs so we have found her on the backs of armchairs and sofas as well as a tall chest of drawers. As of yet she has shown no real interest in the outside world seeming to be content staring out of the conservatory doors, but why should she, she has a room of her own (I dont know where guests are going to stay now), several meals a day and lots of fuss when she wants it!
Thanks for finding us our new family member.
Kind Regards, Martin & Neil.

| BUSTER and TOBY II |
It is almost 2 weeks since we took Buster and Toby home with us. The second we walked through the door and let them out of the basket, Buster was off exploring the whole house. Toby shot under the sofa and stayed there for the remainder of the day!
Since them Buster has been, well, Buster! He likes to drink out of the toilet, eat the bubbles out of the bath and play with almost anything that moves, and can always be found about two steps behind our daughter, Izzy. Toby on the other hand took time to decide if he wanted to live with us - that is to say about two days. He now chases Buster and jumps on him at any and every opportunity. He has also found his appetite, consisting mainly of roast chicken and steak! Food has also been a very good way of reassuring him about Izzy - she has been the one to feed him and now when she is in the kitchen, so is Toby. Both cats have found their place at night time - the middle of our bed (that is when they have finally decided it's time to go to sleep)!
Despite all this we have realized just how much we have missed having cats in our home. Thank you.

| POPPY |
Just a little note to say that Poppy (formerly Pippa) has settled in very well.
She didn't get on so well with Star at first, but they are getting along a lot better now.
By the way, both Gizmo and Thomas are very happy in their new home with Mark and Suzanne.
Keep up the good work!
Lots of love from Craig, Collette, Star and Poppy

| FOGGY |

Foggy was rehomed by us in May 2005.
He was about 6 years old, and all he wanted was love, cuddles and someone to play with. He has all this now and is happy with his chilled out life.
The picture is of Foggy at Christmas enjoying the bubbles.

| BISCUIT
AND ROSIE |

Biscuit and her black kitten Rosie were homed together in January
2004 and have settled well into their new home. They love lots
of attention from their new owners and follow them around where
ever they go in the house. As you can see from the photos, they
are very contented cats and have found the best spot in the
house - in front of the fire watching TV. view

| CLEO |

Cleo was homed last August when she was 5 months old and has
settled in very well into her new home. She loves tormenting
the resident cats - Fudge and Oscar. Cleo's favourite hobby
is fly catching! She's an affectionate little cat who can purr
for Britain. view

| OZ |

After waiting several months, Oz has finally found a home that
he can call his own. He certainly looks contented in this photo.
His new owners say that his favourite spot is on the window
sill watching the birds in the garden. view

| SAMMY |

11 month old Sammy was rehomed in February this year and is
described by his owner as a VERY active cat. His favourite spot
in the house is the bathroom sink as you can see. Other quirky
habits he has is a fetish for hair bands. He tries to hide his
ever expanding collection in his basket whilst his owners collection
is rapidly diminishing! view

| MILLIE |

18 month old Millie is a real live wire and enjoys playing with all her new toys that her new owners have spoilt her with. On her first night in her new home she soon made herself at home on their laps, she certainly knows when she's onto a good thing! view

| BRAD |

Brad was rehomed by the Lloyd family last September, due to his previous experiences he was quite timid. His fortunes have changed for the better since joining his new family, he now enjoys a lot of fussing and playing with his toy mouse. After eating the best cat food there he is, he snuggles up in his radiator bed. The Lloyd family are convinced that he is the happiest cat around! view

| PUD |

Pud was homed last christmas and loves fuss and attention but only on her terms. She is very vocal and has a short temper and is guaranteed to bite you if you sing to her apparantely but has the grace to give you a warning meow first! view

| ASTER |

10 year old Aster was rehomed a couple of years ago from the Cats Protection. Her owners say she has a sweet, affectionate nature and she can purr for britain ! She loves to be fussed and tickled, and has a lovely thick ginger coat for just that purpose. She loves her food, the occasional chat, a warm bed (or lap!), and lots of cuddles. She is also very territorial and joins in with our black tom cat to see off any other cats who unwisely stray into the garden. Needless to say, despite two house moves, she is still very much with us and happy to be part of the family.

| TASHA |

Tasha was rehomed when she was an 11 week old kitten, she is now 5 months old and still ever much a playful young kitten. She enjoys digging up newly potted plants much to her owners dismay but they can't be cross with her for long. She loves curling up in her favourite chair for a snooze after she's worn herself out from all the playing that she indulges in.

| BISLEY |

Chloe Needham aged 11 tells us below how Bisley came to be apart of their family: "Bisley came to the Cats Protection after being kept under a shed where it was cold. Bisley was only about 2 weeks old at the time when he and 2 other kittens were found. Soon after, we found out that his Mum had been killed by a fox so Bilsey had no chance of surviving if nobody helped to hand rear him and his brothers. After Bisley and his brothers were strong enough to face the big world they went to live in a catpen at around 8 weeks old. His brothers were adopted and Bisley was left alone." Chloe's Mum adopted Bisley and he's now 18 months old and the best thing that has happened to Chloe - ever!

| POLLY |

Recognise this gorgeous girl? Polly was once our featured cat and waited for almost a whole year before somebody would give her the chance of a new life in a loving home. As you can see she is enjoying the delights of her new home to the full. Her new owners say that Polly has brought them so much fun and has explored every cupboard in the house.

| BOBBIE & BILLIE |

Bobbie and Billie are settling well into their new home and their new owners have fallen head over heels in love with them and can't bear to be away from them. |
| SAFFY |

Saffy is a beautiful pale ginger lady and is settling slowly but surely into her new owners home. She enjoys lots of fussing, attention and tuna fish! Her new owners didn't think they would be able to find a cat with a loving nature like that of their last cat Oscar, but Saffy is proving to be match for their beloved Oscar.

| BEN |

After several months waiting patiently for a home, Ben is finally settling into a home with his new owner. Ben is enjoying having a good explore around his new surroundings which in turn tires him out so he's having frequent cat naps. His owner assures us that they are both going to be very happy together! A fabulous outcome for all concerned. |
| OZ |

Oz (aka Craig whilst in our foster care) waited patiently for a home for several months. His new owners have informed us that they've found out that he's quite a cheeky chap. He loves to play and is a loving cat. |
| ZARA |

Zara has been with her new owners for a year now and they say she's absolutely adorable. She's always up to mischief, bringing plenty of mice home as presents, not exactly the presents the family would like! When she's disappeared she's mostly to be found cuddled up with the families other cat on the bunkbed. They seem to think its their bed! We've been warned not to be fooled by the photo, she's not as angelic as she looks - I think us pet lovers can all relate to that.
|
| MUNGO & JENNY |

Mungo (on the left) and Jenny (on the right), came into our care along with their Mum (who is still looking for a home). After a short stay with one of our fosterers, they have now settled in well into their new home. |
| MONTY & DOLLY & BRIAN |

Monty & Dolly have now been with their new owners for a year and the have kindly given us this update:
"Monty is very friendly and out-going, a great favourite with all the neighbours and at one point we were quite alarmed to find that at least three other households would have welcomed him in with open arms. However, to our great relief, Monty has decided that Home is best and NEVER stays away for very long. It took quite some time for Dolly to open up, but she is now very talkative and will even condescend to sit on a lap, being stroked and drooling with delight." Since December, they have acquired another cat who just turned up, obviously a stray, hungry and un-neutered. He has since been neutered with our help and Brian is now a permanent member of the family. Apart from the occasional bout of handbags at dawn, the three of them get on very well . |
| JOSH & JOE |

Josh and Joe came into our care with the rest of the litter of kittens, all were suffering from cat flu. Josh and Joe were the first kittens of the litter to make a full recovery and be rehomed. They are now settling well into their new home. |
| MILLIE |

Millie (originially Lizzie whilst she was in our care) was found fastened in a box alongside a canal. After a traumatic experience, she is now happily settled in with her new family. They say she is really affectionate and loves to be made a fuss of. She's their little shadow and follows them everywhere!
|
| ALICE |
Alice came to us as a stray with her kitten. Happily she is now settled in a lovely new home. Her new family say she is very spoilt and loved. She has loads of energy and is always running around and playing with her toys, then when she is tired she likes to sit on our shoulders and go to sleep! Ahhhh...
