The branch is blessed not to have just one, but two charity shops.
The income from these shops provide us with vital funds that ensure
we can carry out cat welfare work which you can read all about on
this website.
Both shops welcome donations of good quality used clothing, bric-a-brac,
books and collectables etc. Donations can be dropped off directly
at the shops during their opening times shown below. The shops also
depend on volunteers who can make a regular commitment to help sell,
sort and tidy. If you are interested in volunteering as a shop helper
please visit our section all about volunteering.
As well as quality second hand goods (pop in and get yourself
a bargain) there's also a good range of Cats Protection League merchandise
which makes a great gift for cat lovers or why not treat yourself?!
The Wirksworth Shop was refurbished in January 2001 with the kind
donation of time and labour from a local builder for which we are
most grateful. The new-look is proving popular with volunteers and
visitors alike.
Wanted - Good quality bric-a-brac and clothes, in particular mens clothes. Goods can be taken to either of our charity shops during the specified opening hours below.
Alternatively, we operate a collection service in Derby once a month. Details below:
Collection Dates 2006 (we are unable to specify a time):
Regrettably, there will be no collections during November. Our next collection will be on Thursday the 7th of December.
By filling in a collections form and either returning it to us in person at the Derby Charity shop or by posting it to the Derby charity shop, address below, we can arrange to collect your donated goods.
