Monty's Ordeal
We will be leaving this story about Monty's
ordeal on the site permanently. We hope you do not find the before
picture too distressing but we believe it is important for the public
to know the full extent of our welfare work which we believe is
of vital importance to the area.
Monty was one of the most distressing cases to be referred to
the Branch. Monty was found at the bottom of a lady's garden in
the state you see in the before photo below. The lady hoped he would
go away and eventually called us after he'd been there for three
days.
When examined by a vet it was confirmed that Monty's injuries were
the result of having been repeatedly kicked in the face. Monty required
extensive treatment including having his jaw rewired.
After treatment and recuperation in our foster unit Monty thrived
to be the fine cat you see in the after photograph and has since
been rehomed to a loving home.
