Why not sponsor a cat pen…?

We have many cats who are looked after by fosterers in cat pens. By sponsoring a pen, you can help the cats who are waiting to be rehomed. The cat could be waiting for weeks or even months to be rehomed, and your sponsorship will help to pay for their care and upkeep during this time.

For just £15 per year, you will receive:

• 3 copies of the Derby & District Cats Protection newsletter.
• Your "plaque" in the newsletter when you become a new sponsor
• A picture of your sponsor pen will be sent to you when you first join, showing the cat currently in residence, along with more details about the cat in the pen you have chosen.
• Quarterly updates on the cat resident in your pen, when the cat is rehomed you will receive details of the new cat in your pen. Sadly we cannot send a photo when a new cat arrives in your pen.
• In addition, if you sponsor a pen as a gift for a friend, your friend will receive a card with details of your gift

If you would like to sponsor a pen please e-mail us at sponsorapen@derbycats.org.uk for more information on the cat pens currently available to support and then print an application form stating which pen you would like to sponsor and send it to us!

Note: We are not affiliated to the Derby Shelter, we are the Derby & District Branch of the Cats Protection. Regrettably, it is not possible for sponsors to visit their sponsor cats.

By filling in a gift aid form we can claim money back from donations, which helps us to help more cats! It really is quite important to us and we would appreciate the extra time it takes for you to fill in the form.
